HANCMIX series Mud mixer also called mud tank mixer, it is widely used in Solids Control Equipment system to mix drilling mud. It is installed on slurry storage tanks or mud tanks to prevent the accumulation of drilling fluid solid particles. The mud mixer is an essential Solids Control equipment for maintaining drilling fluid performance.
In the common design, the shaft length is more than 1700mm, a centering sleeve is needed at the bottom to ensure that the shaft is not broken during operation. The diameter of the impeller is approximately 1/3 of the sludge tank length. Mechanical mud mixer is made of drive motor, gear reducer, gearbox output shaft and impeller.
The HANCMIX series mud mixer is designed to be very humanized. The impeller is propeller type and is fixed to the shaft with screws without welding directly. So it is convenient for replacement and removal.

Working principle:
The impeller can swirl the drilling fluid, enhancing the mixing effect. The tray placed between the leaf blades can prevent solid particles from accumulating when the machine is stopped, thus reducing the moment of resistance imparted by the sediment to the impellers when the equipment is restarted, thus preventing the machine from burning.
