The HANS Dryer uses centrifugal force to dry punctured solids in oil or synthetic base fluids. A stainless steel sieve bowl captures “wet” solids and accelerates them up to 420G at 900 RPM with G force. The liquid is forced through the sieve chamber openings, while the “dry” solids are removed from the chamber by angled vanes attached to the cone that rotates slightly more slowly.
Tungsten carbide protects the blades from abrasive solids and
provides long working life.
This helps maintain a constant gap between the scroll and the sieve chamber, which is crucial for smooth operation.

For HANS Separators Normal wear parts are accessible from the top of the machine; belts can be replaced without removing the gear assembly and the entire gear assembly can be removed with little effort.
Special materials such as tungsten carbide and ceramic tiles are applied to high wear areas.
Dryer comes with two wash lines that clean screens
if they are filled with solids and become blind.
An externally mounted oil lubrication system circulates clean lubricant into the differential gear assembly.
The lubrication system is electrically interlocked with the main motor starter to prevent the machine from starting in case of low or no oil pressure in the gearbox.
There are HANS Ex-proof separators designed with inert gas supply, with ATEX certificate on equipment and sensors, in order to work safely in flammable and combustible products and explosive environments.
Most units come with an overhead crane to facilitate repair and maintenance of the sieve chamber and rotating components.
